The Essentials Returned To Merla Mae!
There was ice cream. There was singing.
There were singers eating ice cream.
On August 24th, The Essentials returned to the parking lot that started off their careers after a 13-year absence. The packed parking lot was
flooded with tapping feet, and smiling faces as The Essentials performed a good mix of their older material, as well as new stuff, including
a 12 song TV theme song medley which delighted the crowd with snippets of The Jeffersons, Happy Days, and Family Guy.
Following the show, the owners of Merla Mae, the Stavrou Family, emailed The Essentials to say that they would like to name a sundae after them! The Essentials' Sundae!

The Essentials would like to thank everyone who came out and made the night so memorable. They will be back in London to release their full-length Christmas CD
on Saturday, November 8th at the Wolf Performance Hall.
