Exciting year ahead!
2007 was a great year for The Essentials, and 2008 is shaping up to be even better!
We started off 2007 with a lot of shows in far off places and ended it by releasing our first Christmas recording ever. In a couple of months, The Essentials were quite pleased as the recording was
certified gold!
Here are some of the highlights for 2008 for The Essentials;
- finishing and releasing the full-length Christmas album (expecting radio play to follow)
- getting a good start on the 2009 original album release
- some multi-week tours including a 3-week stint in the great province of Manitoba

We have a tracking system on our website and find it interesting that we get hits from all over the world on a daily basis. Besides large countries with tons
of a cappella fans in North America, Europe, and Asia, some of the more recent ones that we found interesting are;
- Isle of Man
- Vatican City
- Iraq
- Aruba (please book us for a show down there, would you? it`s -40 here in Toronto!)

On Sat Feb 23rd, The Essentials will be performing the U.S. and Canadian anthems on national television (CBC) for the Toronto Maple Leafs / Atlanta Thrashers NHL hockey game!

The Essentials performed on CBC Television for several Toronto Maple Leafs national anthems this year. Click one of the links below to
