I'd like to thank Calgary for preparing me for winter!

After spending 4 days in -20 degree weather (with the windchill), it was a nice treat to come home to weather that was above zero! :)

Although it was quite a shock to the system, I must admit, it was nice to see some beautiful snow after going so many months without it. Perhaps a temperature closer to zero would've been a bit nicer though. On the plus side, I will now be ready when mother nature decides to brings that wintery weather to Toronto.

While we were in Calgary we met a lot of new friendly people, but I was also very happy to see some familiar faces there as well. I was able to meet up with a few of my cousins that I haven't seen in over a year, so that was a nice added touch to my Calgary experience.

Hopefully we will be invited back again soon. Let's try for a warmer season next time though...perhaps while the Calgary Stampede is on. I'll be sure to bring my cowboy hat instead of a toque!
