It’s that time of year when most Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving, and I think it’s an absolutely perfect time for it! This time of year always makes me think of all the hidden wonders in this world. There is so much to be thankful for, but sometimes we get so busy that we take those things for granted. I always love taking a drive up north in the fall to see all the leaves on the trees changing colour. Such a simple thing that happens every year, but it really is a beautiful thing to see. It’s something that can be taken for granted so easily during the other months of the year, when it’s not so visible. There are so many examples of this in life, where something so small can make such an impact on the world. I believe that music is one of those things. Aside from the entertainment value that music brings, it also creates emotion. Music can be very therapeutic. It’s an outlet for the writer to speak from their soul. It’s a spotlight for the performer to express that emotion. It’s a connection that is made with the listener that brings us together. There is always someone else out there that is feeling exactly what you are feeling. Music unites us. Music is one of those things that I have relied on to be there for me when I needed some cheering up. Music is like a friend. It provides a comfort to the soul. I am so thankful and blessed that music plays such a big role in my life. I’m sure that I speak on behalf of the whole group when I say...Thank YOU for supporting us so that we can continue to create our music. And in return, we hope that our music provides some comfort to your soul. This month’s Q & A is fitting for the Thanksgiving season... Q: What are you most thankful for?
